W'sup y'all. You'd never guess what happened today....or would you? Let me run it down: Played a gig with Thelonius Monk Jr (yes, the son of the great Thelonius Monk, one of the innovators of Bebop jazz piano and all music itself) in Atlantic City tonight. It was hot as HELLLL outside, but we were playing right next to the beach, so it was worth it. But when I got home from the gig I found 6 boxes of my new album, "The Mind Of An Evolutionary" waiting for me!! I really had no reaction, if you can believe it, because I've been working on getting this album out for almost 2 years and run into delay after delay, drama after drama. Honestly, it didn't hit me that my record was finally here. But have no fear.....IT'S HIT ME NOW!!!! MY RECORDS HERE!!! Anyway, here's a quick view of what a little shipment of 1,000 cd's looks like for anyone who's interested. Oh, that's my littlest daughter Zaia (smiling with a mouthful of grapes) standing next to the boxes.
